Ballet Folklórico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo, began its activities in February of 2005 under the direction of the ex-members of the Ballet Nacional de Aztlan de la Ciudad de México,

Miguel Ángel Martínez y José Luís Juárez, with the purpose of expressing the richness and variety of Mexican folklore. To this date, Fuego Nuevo has made numerous presentations throughout the Bay Area, from private presentations to presentations with artists of such great renown as the likes of Beatriz Adriana. Nowadays, the company has integrated dancers from different types and talents and skills that make this ballet company unique. Within the repertoire of the Ballet Folklorico Mexicano we found a range of images that represent the rich eras of Mexican culture: pre-hispanic Mexico, Colonial and Transcendent. Fuego Nuevo is dedicated to all those who know their roots, that live them or wish to be a part of them.
